Outpatient Chemical Dependency

Our integrated, comprehensive substance abuse treatment program offers individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, couples counseling, psychiatry, and addiction medicine (suboxone) services, focusing on evidence-based and trauma informed sessions. Our outpatient program is a medically supervised outpatient chemical dependency program with ancillary withdrawal services licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). We strive to provide a therapeutic environment where patients can begin to heal and work toward physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery. Our talented and compassionate staff will work toward educating patients and their loved ones about the disease of addiction. This helps one understand how addiction can impact the ability to live a happy and rewarding life. Patients at ACI Outpatient receive medical, psychiatric, nursing, wellness, and behavioral services in individual, group, and family settings. All of our therapeutic treatments and programs are focused on helping the patient sustain and maintain sobriety. We assist patients in developing new skills in communication, self-expression, emotion regulation, and stress reduction, helping the individual feel physically, guiding them towards achieving true sobriety. “I firmly believe that ACI is why my son is still alive, back with our family, and back to school. As a mother my primary concern was that my son would receive compassionate care and the attention he needed to focus on his recovery. We have been through this before and I was losing hope, so was my son. It is a very lonely and dark place to be. All ACI staff, doctors, nurses, and counselors were always available when I had questions. We were able to visit and we had a family therapy session where I learned that I had to take care of myself too, without feelings of guilt. We also learned how to set limits and boundaries. At last, freedom, from the emotional pain of being part of an addicted family. My son learned the skills he needs to sustain his sobriety. He learned about the importance of maintaining sober friends and activities. He learned how to say no and change the things in his life that kept holding him back from happiness, health, and success. Thank you ACI I have my son back!”
